@RyverSolare "lora.add_channel()" is for LoRaWan, while you are using LoRa-Raw. You can define your own LoRa-some-name protocol, but the gateway will not be a LoRaWan gateway, using mono or multichannel by means of FHSS (Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum), etc.

Just guessing, but you should probably set the same spreading factor on the receiver also?

Also, IIRC if you do LBT-AFA (listen before talk, frequency agility), there's no duty-cycle limit (maybe not on all bands, too lazy to check). You are right, and also allowed RF power may vary on subbands. Still bitrate is very low.
